December 15 (SeeNews) - Moldova's trade deficit widened by 18.1% on the year to $3.86 billion (3.63 billion euro) in the first ten months of 2022, the country's statistics bureau said on Thursday.
Moldova's exports were 35.7% higher on the year, while imports increased by 30.8% in the first ten months of the year, the statistics office said in a statement.
In October alone, exports were 0.1% lower on the year to $352 million, while imports rose 15.8% to $749.2 million. October trade deficit rose by an annual 34.8% to $397.2 million.
