September 21 (SeeNews) - Switzerland-based transportation and logistics services provider Militzer & Munch Group has opened subsidiaries in Bosnia and Montenegro, it said.
The new subsidiaries, based in Sarajevo and Podgorica, started operations in late August, Militzer & Munch said in a statement last week.
They will offer all of the Militzer & Munch services, with a special focus on Full Truck Load (FTL) and Less Than Truckload (LTL) road transports, as well as on customs clearance.
Elsewhere in Southeast Europe, the Militzer & Munch Group operates in Serbia, Greece, Bulgaria and Romania. The company intends to make the Serbian subsidiary a Militzer & Munch hub for the Western Balkans in the future, it said.
"Many customers we work with in Serbia are also active in the other markets of the region; these customers mainly come from the fashion and textiles, automotive, and chemical sectors. Therefore, the two new national companies will mainly transport goods for companies from these industries," Nikola Vasiljevic, managing director of the two new country units and executive director at Militzer & Munch Serbia, said.
