BUCHAREST (Romania), October 26 (SeeNews) - Swedish-based multinational project development and construction group Skanska said on Friday that US IT giant Microsoft will lease 23,000 sq m of office space and 500 parking spaces in its Bucharest-based campus.
The lease start date is in the third quarter of 2020, Skanska said in a press release.
At completion, in 2022, the Campus 6 office complex will comprise four buildings that offer a total leasable area of approximately 81,000 sq m. The buildings will be LEED Gold and WELL certified.
Microsoft is present in Romania since 1992 and currently has 1,300 employees in the country.
Skanska develops commercial properties in select home markets in Poland, Czech Republic, Romania and Hungary, while the residential development is active in Prague and Warsaw.
