December 1 (SeeNews) - Cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as share indices increased, bourse data showed.
A total of 2,195 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 4.6 million dinars. Metalac lost 1.08% and closed at 2,101 dinars.
Metalac was also the leading blue-chip decliner on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday.
Soybean processing company Sojaprotein [BEL:SJPT] led the blue-chip gainers' list on Friday, after winning 0.48% and closing at 422 dinars. A total of 7,756 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 3.3 million dinars.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, rose 0.09% to 744.59 points on Friday. On Thursday, the index added 1.04%.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, edged up 0.01% on Friday and closed at 1,644.55 points, after increasing 1.0% on Thursday.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse increased to 20.6 million dinars ($204,800/172,800 euro) on Friday from 18.6 million dinars on Thursday, as 212 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 9.6 million dinars.
