September 12 (SeeNews) - Industrial gases maker Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as stock indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 339 Messer Tehnogas shares changed hands in turnover of 4.2 million dinars. Messer Tehnogas shares closed up 0.04% at 12,305 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.43% higher at 762.59 points.
Agricultural chemicals maker Galenika Fitofarmacija [BEL:FITO] led the blue-chip gainers' list, as its share price increased 6.56% to 3,199 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, rose 0.24% to 1,613.25.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 8.2 million dinars ($77,500/69,800 euro) on Thursday, down from Wednesday's 38.5 million dinars, as 77 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the exchange generated a turnover of 883,042 dinars.
No Treasury bonds changed hands on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday.
