August 30 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Belgrade Stock Exchange closed up on Monday, with industrial gases maker Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS] leading the blue-chip gainers' list, bourse data showed.
Messer Tehnogas closed 6.65% higher at 16,000 dinars on Monday. Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover of 1.2 million dinars, as 1,923 of its shares changed hands.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.45% higher at 799.73 points.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.56% at 1,702.43.
The bourse's total turnover fell to 2.6 million dinars ($26,100/22,100 euro) on Monday, from 2.9 million dinars on Friday, as 41 transactions were carried out.
