October 3 (SeeNews) - Mercedes-Benz Turk, the Turkish subsidiary of German car maker Daimler, has inaugurated a 20 million euro ($27 million) production site at its truck factory in Turkey's city of Aksaray, local media reported.
The new production site expands the vehicle assembly area at the factory, daily Milliyet said Thursday.
The investment is aimed at establishing infrastructure for the manufacturing of new vehicles, capacity expansion, more efficient and flexible manufacturing process, the daily said.
The factory produces Axor, Actros, Atego and Unimog trucks.
