May 26 (SeeNews) - Romanian private healthcare services provider MedLife [BSE:M] led the gainers among the blue chips on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) on Friday, bourse data showed.
The total equity turnover of the BVB fell to 34.4 million lei ($8.5 million/ 7.5 million euro) from 50.4 million lei on Thursday
Medlife was the top blue-chip gainer, climbing 4.72% to 37.7 lei in 48,742 lei turnover.
Blue-chip lender Banca Transilvania [BSE: TLV] rose 3% to 2.9150 lei in the day's largest turnover of 10.42 million lei.
Blue-chip oil and gas group OMV Petrom Romgaz [BSE: SNP] fell 0.60% to 0.33 lei in the day's second largest turnover of 4.32 million lei.
Blue-chip lender BRD Societe Generale [BSE:BRD] lost 0.62% to 12.8 lei in the day's third largest turnover of 3.86 million lei.
