November 8 (SeeNews) - Swedish medical services provider Medicover Group said its revenues in Romania rose by 34.8% year-on-year in the first nine months of 2019, reaching 89 million euro ($98.6 million).
Healthcare services revenues in Romania rose by 65% on the year to 44.1 million euro in January-September, boosted by acquisitions made last year, the Swedish group said in a consolidated financial statement released earlier this week.
"The two main markets for Healthcare Services, Poland and Romania, continued to see strong demand for privately paid healthcare services, driven by strong economic development and real wage growth," Medicover Group said.
Diagnostic services revenue in Romania rose by 13.9% to 44.9 million euro, driven by the expansion of the network’s national presence.
