November 15 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's competition regulator said on Wednesday that Maxima Bulgaria, the operator of the T Market supermarket chain, is seeking its approval to acquire four shops.
The company seeks to acquire the shops from local company Atanas Plamenov-2016, the Commission for Protection of Competition said in a statement on its website.

The competition regulator said it will announce its decision within seven days.
Maxima Bulgaria, a part of Lithuania-based discount retailer Maxima Grupe, operates 62 supermarkets in 30 cities mostly in the western part of the country.
In 2016, Maxima Bulgaria opened 14 new supermarkets.
