SKOPJE (Macedonia), March 6 (SeeNews) – Makedonski Telekom [MSE:TEL] said on Thursday it plans to pay a gross dividend of 31.49 denars ($0.71/0.51 euro) per stock for 2013, down from 65.46 denars it paid out a year earlier.
The company plans to distribute as dividend its entire 2013 net profit of 2.72 billion denars, Makedonski Telekom said in a filing with the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE).
The shareholders will vote on the proposal on March 27 and if they approve it, dividend will be paid out between April 24 and April 30.
Magyar Telekom, a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom, owns 51% of Makedonski Telekom via its fully-owned subsidiary Stonebridge Communications, and the Macedonian government holds a 34.8% stake.
Makedonski Telekom is a component of MSE's blue-chip index.
