SKOPJE (Macedonia), March 25 (SeeNews) – Makedonski Telekom [MSE:TEL] said on Wednesday it plans to pay a gross dividend of 26.23 denars ($0.46/0.42 euro) per share for 2014, down from the 31.49 denars it paid out a year earlier.
Makedonski Telekom plans to distribute its entire 2014 net profit of 2.26 billion denars as dividend, the company said in a filing with the Macedonian Stock Exchange.
The company’s shareholders will vote on the dividend proposal on April 16.
Magyar Telekom, a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom, owns 51% of Makedonski Telekom via its fully-owned subsidiary Stonebridge Communications, while the Macedonian government holds a 34.8% stake.
