BELGRADE (Serbia), July 6 (SeeNews) – The two main Belgrade stock indices backed off further on Wednesday, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) ticked down 0.54% to 724.48 points after sliding 1.55% on Tuesday.
The broader BELEXline pulled back by 0.40% to 1,352.11 after losing 1.22% in the previous trading session.
BELEX total turnover swelled to 66.3 million dinars ($941,472/657,499 euro) from 39.5 million dinars on Tuesday. Government securities generated 7.6 million dinars of the session's turnover, up from 4.1 million in the previous session.
Losers outnumbered winners 16 to seven as 18 companies closed flat on Wednesday.
Blue-chip oil company NIS shed 0.14% to 706 dinars in 6.1 million dinars of turnover, the session's biggest.
JP Aerodrom Nikola Tesla, the company operating the Belgrade international airport, closed flat at 536 dinars in the second largest turnover of 3.8 million dinars.
Blue chip AIK Banka [BEL:AIKB] closed 1.99% lower at 3,003 dinars in the day's third largest turnover of 2.5 million dinars.
Transportation company Lasta paced the gainers, rising 2.56% to 400 dinars.
Drug maker Velefarm [BEL:VLFR] led the decliners, falling 10.18% to 600 dinars.
