LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), September 24 (SeeNews) – MAHLE Holding Austria GmbH has filed a bid to acquire the shares in Slovenian automotive parts producer Letrika [LJE:IALG] it does not already own, a bourse filing indicated on Wednesday.
In June, MAHLE Holding Austria GmbH acquired from a consortium of Letrika shareholders a 54% stake at 67.1 euro ($85.8) per share. It currently owns 85.04% of the Slovenian company.

The buyout bid targets 240,577 Letrika shares and is priced at 67.1 euro apiece, the text of the offer showed.
The bid will be valid until October 22.
The acquisition is part of the privatization process targeting Slovenian companies that are under majority state control.
Sempeter-based Letrika produces also starter motors, generators and electrical drive systems for passenger cars and commercial vehicles, among other products.
