March 12 (SeeNews) - The number of tourists visiting Macedonia fell by 2.9% no the year to 30,836 in January, the country's statistics office said on Wednesday.
Tourist overnights declined also by an annual 2.9% to 65,019 in January, with foreigners accounting for 30,928 of the total, the statistics office said in a statement.
Most foreign tourists visiting Macedonia in January came from Greece, followed by tourists from Albania, Serbia, Bulgaria, and Turkey.
