May 14 (SeeNews) - Macedonia's Stopanska banka Skopje [MSE:STB] said on Monday that its non-consolidated net profit rose to 1.05 billion denars ($20.5 million/17.1 million euro) in the first quarter of the year from 669.2 million denars in the same period of last year.
The lender's net interest income grew to 960.1 million denars in January-March from 912.9 million denars in the like period of 2017, Stopanska banka Skopje said in an interim financial statement.
The bank's net fee and commission income rose to 245.3 million denars in the first three months of the year from 236.7 million denars a year earlier.
Stopanska banka Skopje reversed 199.0 million denars of financial asset impairments during the period under review, while in the same period of 2017 it booked 133.7 million denars of financial asset impairments.
In March, Stopanska banka Skopje said it has signed a contract for the sale of a 921.8 million denars debt owed to the lender by ferronickel producer Feni Industries.
