SKOPJE (Macedonia), May 21 (SeeNews) – Macedonian construction materials producer Renova plans to open its 40 million euro ($54.9 million) mixed-use residential and retail complex, REM, in the northwestern city of Tetovo on June 18, local media said on Wednesday.
The 60,000 square metre (sq m) REM complex in Tetovo’s downtown will employ 250 people, daily Vecer (www.vecer.com.mk) reported, quoting Renova’s general director Shefik Idrizi.
The complex consists of a shopping centre, covering an area of 19,000 sq m, 146 apartments, a five-star hotel, a panorama restaurant and 400 parking lots.
The construction of REM was originally launched by two investors: Renova and the other local company Elektrometal, but the second investor withdrew from the investments in September 2013 due to the lack of funds.
