SKOPJE (Macedonia), September 21 (SeeNews) – Macedonia's real net wage increased by 4.5% year-on-year in July, after growing by an annual 4.7% in June, the national statistical office, Makstat, said on Friday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage in Macedonia added 6.2% to 24,072 denars ($456.9/389.5 euro) in July, after increasing by 6.1% in June, Makstat said in a statement.
On a monthly comparison basis, the average nominal net wage in Macedonia fell by 0.5% in July.
The strongest annual wage growth in July in nominal terms, of 26.6%, was registered in mining and quarrying, followed by information and communications with 15.1%.
