April 23 (SeeNews) - Macedonia's real net wage increased by 1.7% year-on-year in February, after growing by 4.5% in January, the national statistical office, Makstat, said on Monday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage in Macedonia grew 3.6% to 23,158 denars ($461.2/377.1 euro) in February, after rising by 5.6% in January, Makstat said in a statement.
On a monthly comparison basis, the average nominal net wage in Macedonia fell by 3.6% in February.
The strongest annual wage growth in February, in nominal terms, was registered in mining and quarrying - 14.5%, followed by manufacturing with 10.7%.
