SKOPJE (Macedonia), October 19 (SeeNews) – Macedonia's real net wage increased by 4.1% year-on-year in August, after growing by an annual 4.5% in July, the national statistical office said on Friday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage in Macedonia added 5.7% to 24,210 denars ($451.1/392.6 euro) in August, after increasing by 6.2% in July, Makstat said in a statement.
On a monthly comparison basis, the average nominal net wage in Macedonia increased by 0.6% in August. The strongest annual wage growth in nominal terms, of 14.2%, was registered in information and communications, followed by manufacturing with 11.4%.
