November 26 (SeeNews) - Macedonia's Ohridska Banka [MSE:OHB], part of French banking group Societe Generale, said that it has received 10 million euro ($11.4 million) in financing from the Green for Growth Fund for a 10-year period.
The funds will be used to finance renewable energy and energy efficiency projects, Ohridska Banka said in a bourse filing.
The lender did not provide further details.
The Green for Growth Fund, established in 2009, promotes energy efficiency projects in Southeast Europe, aiming to achieve through its investments a 20% reduction in energy consumption and/or a 20% reduction in CO2 emissions in the region.
