November 7 (SeeNews) - Macedonia's Ohridska Banka [MSE:OHB] said on Tuesday its net profit fell to 208.6 million denars ($3.9 million/3.4 million euro) in the first nine months of the year from 425.0 million denars in the prior-year period.
Net impairment losses rose to 456.4 million denars in the nine months through September from 168.3 million denars a year earlier, Ohridska Banka said in a bourse filing.
The lender’s net interest income rose to 888.7 million denars in the January-September period from 838.6 million denars in the comparable period of 2016.
Net fee and commission income increased to 202.9 million denars in the review period compared to 195.9 million denars the year before.
Last month, Ohridska Banka signed an agreement to be provided a 10-year 15 million subordinated loan by its majority owner, France’s Societe Generale, in order to make sure it adheres to the Basel capital requirements.
