November 14 (SeeNews) - Macedonia’s NLB Tutunska Banka [MSE:TNB] said on Friday its net profit climbed to 524.8 million denars ($7.6 million/5.7 million euro) in the first nine months of 2014 from 446.1 million denars a year earlier.
Net interest income rose 11% on the year to 1.5 billion denars through September, while net fee and commission income increased 3.2% to 670.2 million denars, the bank said in a statement sent to the Macedonian Stock Exchange.
NLB Tutunska Banka is part of Slovenia's NLB Group.
Sixteen banks operate in Macedonia, a country of 2.0 million.
