SKOPJE (Macedonia), October 31 (SeeNews) – Macedonia's NLB Banka [MSE:TNB], previously known as Tutunska Banka, said its non-consolidated net profit rose to 1.53 billion denars ($28.9 million/24.9 million euro) in the first nine months of 2017 from 1.15 billion denars in the prior-year period.
The lender's net interest income rose to 2.14 billion denars in January-September from 2.03 billion denars in the corresponding period of last year.
Net fee and commission income increased to 746.7 million denars in the period under review from 691.4 million denars the year before.
Staff costs edged up to 575.7 million denars from 559.3 million denars a year earlier. Other operating costs fell to 624.7 million denars from 750.7 million denars in the like period of 2016.
