November 13 (SeeNews) - Macedonian marble producer Mermeren Kombinat [MSE:MERM] said its non-consolidated net profit rose to 618.8 million denars ($11.7 million/10.1 million euro) in the first nine months of 2017 from 151.8 million denars in the like period of last year.
The company’s sales revenue rose by an annual 88% to 1.25 billion denars in the January-September period, Mermeren Kombinat said in a bourse filing on Friday.
Cost of materials increased by 7% year-on-year to 150.9 million denars in the review period, while service costs added 26% on the year to 200.1 million denars.
Mermeren Kombinat’s operating profit soared to 631.3 million denars in the nine months through September from 159.1 million denars in the comparable period of 2016.
