December 3 (SeeNews) - Macedonian fuel retailer Makpetrol [MSE:MPT] said on Monday that its consolidated net profit soared to 606.8 million denars ($11.2 million/9.9 million euro) in the first nine months of the year from 203.7 million denars in the like period of 2017.
The company's operating revenue rose 17% year-on-year to 16.4 billion denars in the January-September period, Makpetrol said in an interim financial statement.
Domestic sales added 16% on the year to 15.4 billion denars, while sales abroad gained 40% to 842.5 million denars.
Makpetrol's operating expenses increased 14% to 15.7 billion denars in the review period.
Financial revenue rose 48% on the year to 111.1 million denars, while financial expenses added 59% to 86.6 million denars.
Makpetrol has a network of over a hundred fuel stations across Macedonia. The company also has units in neighbouring Serbia and Greece.
