May 16 (SeeNews) - Macedonian fuel retailer Makpetrol [MSE:MPT] said on Wednesday that its consolidated net profit rose 84% year-on-year to 76.9 million denars ($1.5 million/1.2 million euro) in the first quarter of 2018.
The company's total operating revenue increased by an annual 8% to 4.3 billion denars in the firs three months of the year, Makpetrol said in an interim financial statement.
Domestic sales added 7% to 4.1 billion denars, while sales abroad grew 31% to 212.5 million denars.
Makpetrol's operating expenses rose 7% year-on-year to 4.2 billion denars in the review period.
Makpetrol has a network of over 100 fuel stations across Macedonia. The company also has units in neighbouring Serbia and Greece.
