SKOPJE (Macedonia), November 23 (SeeNews) - Macedonian fuel retailer Makpetrol [MSE:MPT] said that it has repurchased 5 of its own shares for an undisclosed sum.

The number of shares is equal to a 0.0044% stake in Makpetrol, bourse data shows.

Following the transaction, Makpetrol owns 8,268 own shares, equivalent to a 7.36% stake in the company, the fuel retailer said in a bourse filing on Wednesday.

In June, Makpetrol launched a share buyback programme targeting up to 10% of the company's capital.

Makpetrol has a network of over a hundred fuel stations across Macedonia. The company also has units in neighbouring Serbia and Greece.
