November 9 (SeeNews) - Macedonian fuel retailer Makpetrol [MSE:MPT] said on Thursday its net profit fell to 201.8 million denars ($3.8 million/3.3 million euro) in the first nine months of 2017 from 292.6 million denars in the like period of last year.
The company’s operating revenue rose to 13.8 billion denars in the January-September period from 12.1 billion denars in the comparable period of last year, Makpetrol said in a bourse filing.
The fuel retailer’s operating expenses increased to 13.7 billion denars in the review period from 11.8 billion denars the year before.
Financial revenue rose to 74.8 million denars in the period under review compared to 65.6 million denars a year earlier, while financial expenses fell to 54.1 million denars from 79.5 million denars.
Makpetrol has a network of 126 fuel stations across Macedonia. The company also has units in neighbouring Serbia and Greece.
