June 12 (SeeNews) - Macedonia's economy expanded by a real 3.2% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2015, compared to a preliminary 3.9% annual increase a year earlier, estimated figures of the country's statistics office indicated on Friday.
Macedonia's gross domestic product (GDP) totalled 98.6 billion denars ($1.8 billion/1.6 billion euro) at current prices in the first quarter, compared to 108.9 billion denars a year earlier, the statistics office said in a statement citing estimated figures.
In 2014 Macedonia's economy expanded by 3.8% in real terms, according to preliminary data.
