August 17 (SeeNews) - Macedonia's Centralna Kooperativna Banka [MSE:CKB] said on Friday that it turned to a net profit of 4.1 million denars ($75,900/66,600 euro) in the first half of 2018 from a net loss of 4.3 million denars in the same period of last year.
The bank's net interest income rose to 123.8 million denars in the first six months of the year from 116.6 million denars in the corresponding period of 2017, Centralna Kooperativna Banka said in an interim financial statement.
Centralna Kooperativna Banka's net fee and commission income fell to 44.2 million denars in the review period from 46.7 million denars the year before.
The lender did not book any impairment losses of non-financial assets in the first half of the year, compared to 10.5 million denars in net impairment losses of non-financial assets in the same period of 2017.
Net impairment losses of financial assets increased to 10.7 million denars in the review period from 8.3 million levs a year earlier.
Centralna Kooperativna Banka's personnel expenses grew to 75.6 million denars from 71.7 million denars last year, while other operating expenses fell to 72.0 million denars from 74.0 million denars.
Centralna Kooperativna Banka is a subsidiary of Bulgaria's Central Cooperative Bank.
