May 15 (SeeNews) - Macedonia's Centralna Kooperativna Banka said on Tuesday that its non-consolidated net loss narrowed to 1.4 million denars ($27,200/22,800 euro) in the first quarter of 2018 from 3.3 million denars in the like period of last year.
The bank's net interest income increased to 61.0 million denars in the first three months of the year from 59.0 million denars the year before, Centralna Kooperativna Banka said in an interim financial statement.
The lender's net fee and commission income fell to 22.0 million denars in the review period from 24.9 million denars a year earlier.
Centralna Kooperativna Banka did not book any impairments of non-financial assets during the first quarter, while it booked 5.4 million denars in the same period of 2017.
The bank's personnel expenses increased to 37.6 million denars in the quarter under review from 35.1 million denars a year earlier, while its other operating expenses fell to 35.3 million denars from 37.5 million denars.
Centralna Kooperativna Banka is majority owned by Bulgaria's Central Cooperative Bank.
