November 3 (SeeNews) - Macedonian building materials producer Cementarnica Usje [MSE:USJE] said its net profit fell by an annual 10% to 865.9 million denars ($16.4 million/14.1 million euro) in the nine months through September.
The company's operating revenue rose 3% year-on-year to 3.44 billion denars in the January-September period, Cementarnica Usje said in a bourse filing on Thursday.
Operating expenses increased 8% on the year to 2.46 billion denars in the period under review.
The company’s financial revenue rose by an annual 14% to 19.1 million denars, while financial expenses rose to 8.5 million denars in the first nine months of 2017 from 1.5 million denars a year earlier.
Cementarnica Usje is a subsidiary of Greece-based cement producer Titan, which owns production plants in nine countries and employs more than 5,500 people worldwide.
