SKOPJE (Macedonia), September 17 (SeeNews) – The business confidence indicator in Macedonia's manufacturing sector rose by 2.1 percentage points year-on-year in August, the country's statistical office said on Monday.
On a monthly comparison basis, the business confidence indicator in manufacturing increased by 0.4 percentage points in August, Makstat said in statement on the results of a survey conducted among local managers.
“The situation with the current volume of production orders in August 2018 is more favourable compared to the previous month, the expectations for the production volume for the next three months are also more favourable and the stocks of finished goods have increased compared to July 2018," the statistical agency said.
Managers expect the number of employees in the manufacturing sector to increase over the following months.
