SKOPJE (Macedonia), October 10 (SeeNews) – The number of building permits issued in Macedonia in August decreased by 17.2% year-on-year to 192, the state statistical office said on Wednesday.
The estimated value of the construction projects covered by building permits issued in August fell by an annual 52.4% to 1.5 billion denars ($28.1 million/24.5 million euro), Makstat said in a statement.
In August, 102 permits were issued for new buildings, 30 for civil engineering projects, and 60 for reconstruction projects.
Of the total number of permits issued in August, 127 were issued to private individuals.
During the review period, 285 dwellings were planned for construction, with a total usable floor area of 24,783 sq m.
