August 15 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Macedonia in June decreased by 10.9% year-on-year to 205, the state statistical office, Makstat, said on Wednesday.
The estimated value of the construction projects covered by building permits issued in June fell by an annual 22.6% to 2.95 billion denars ($54.2 million/ 47.9 million euro), Makstat said in a statement.
In June, 117 permits were issued for new buildings, 45 for civil engineering projects, and 43 for reconstruction projects.
Of the total number of permits issued in June, 115 were issued to private individuals.
During the review period, 554 dwellings were planned for construction, with a total usable floor area of 41,505 sq m.
