October 21 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip index of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) rose this week amidst increased turnover, bourse data indicated on Friday.
The MSE's benchmark MBI-10 index closed 2.5% higher at 2,033.90 points on Friday, after falling 0.67% in the week to October 14.
Official market turnover rose to 40.3 million denars ($711,660/654,350 euro) from 35 million denars last week.
Komercijalna Banka Skopje [MSE:KMB] was the most traded stock this week, generating turnover of 8.9 million denars, as a total of 3,322 of the bank's shares changed hands.
The MSE bond index, the OMB, closed at 126.97 points, down from 127.28 points last Friday.
