July 22 (SeeNews) - The blue chip index of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) ended higher this week as weekly turnover increased, bourse data indicated.
The benchmark MBI-10 index of the MSE closed at 1.837,29, up from 1,808.22 points on July 15, after picking up 0.8% a week earlier.
MSE's turnover on the official market totalled 56.42 million denars ($1.007 million/919,000 euro), as compared to 45.1 million denars a week earlier.
Lender Stopanska Banka - Bitola [MSE:SBT] was the most traded company this week, generating a turnover of 10.5 million denars with a total of 10,128 shares changing hands.
The MSE bond index, the OMB, closed at 126.84 points, slightly down from 126.9 points last Friday.
