December 5 (SeeNews) - Macedonian construction company Beton Stip said on Tuesday its turned to a consolidated net loss of 63.7 million denars ($1.2 million/1.0 million euro) in the first nine months of 2017, from a net profit of 29.2 million denars in the prior-year period.
The company’s total operating revenue fell by an annual 47% to 304.6 million denars in the January-September period, Beton Stip said in a bourse filing.
Consolidated operating expenses decreased 38% year-on-year to 336.8 million denars in the review period.
The company’s financial revenue fell by an annual 15% to 26.6 million denars, while financial expenses rose 46% year-on-year to 22.3 million denars.
Beton Stip is a construction company based in eastern Macedonia. Until 1995, it was part of Beton Skopje. The company has completed projects in Macedonia, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Ukraine, Russia, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Libya and Iraq.
