April 21 (SeeNews) - Macedonia's real average net monthly wage increased by 2.2% year-on-year in February, after rising 1.6% in the previous month, data from the country's statistical office showed on Friday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage in Macedonia added 2.4% on the year in February, reaching 22,347 denars ($389.2/363.4 euro).
The strongest wage growth was registered in the transportation sector, by 11.9%, followed by the information and communication sector, 6.0%.
On a monthly comparison basis, net wages dropped by 1.3% in February.
