October 17 (SeeNews) - The gross foreign exchange reserves held by Macedonia's central bank, NBRM, rose to 1.485 billion euro ($2.11 billion) at the end of August from 1.449 billion euro a month earlier, the NBRM said on Wednesday.
The reason for the rise is the central bank's purchase of foreign currency, it said in a statement posted on its website.
