SKOPJE (Macedonia), December 7 (SeeNews) – Macedonia's consumer prices rose 1.2% year-on-year in November, after adding 1.5% in the previous month, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
The prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages, which have the largest weight of 38% in the consumer basket, edged up 0.5% year-on-year in November, after growing 0.4% of the same rate in October, the statistical office said in a statement.
The prices of housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, which have the second-largest weight of 13.6%, edged up 0.2% in November after remaining unchanged in October.
Prices in the transport segment, with 8% weight in the consumer basket, added 4.7% in November, following a rise of 8.4% in the previous month.
On a monthly comparison basis, Macedonia's consumer prices edged down 0.2% in November, after adding 0.3% in October.
