November 3 (SeeNews) - Macedonian drug maker Alkaloid [MSE:ALK] said on Monday its consolidated net profit rose by an annual 4.0% to 440 million denars ($9.1 million/7.1 million euro) in the first nine months of 2014.
Sales revenue were up by 8.0% on the year to 5.5 billion denars through September, while operating profit increased 13% to 561.5 million denars, Alkaloid said in a consolidated income statement filed with the Macedonian Stock Exchange.
Skopje-based Alkaloid is a component of the bourse's blue-chip MBI index. It has representative offices in more than 10 countries and distributes its products to about 30 markets.
