February 28 (SeeNews) - Macedonian drug maker Alkaloid [MSE:ALK] said on Friday its consolidated net profit rose 3.0% on the year to 600.4 million denars ($13.3 million/9.7 million euro) in 2013.
Sales revenue climbed 5.0% on the year to 7.1 billion denars in 2013, while operating profit increased 4.0% to 715.5 million denars, Alkaloid said in its consolidated income statement sent to the Macedonian Stock Exchange.
Skopje-based Alkaloid is a component of the bourse's blue-chip MBI index. It has representative offices in more than 10 countries and distributes its products on some 30 markets.
