June 13 (SeeNews) - The number of tourists staying in Macedonia in the first four months of 2012 rose by 4.6% on the year to 130,083, the country's statistics office said.
Tourist overnights edged down by 0.7% to 275,610 through April, with foreign nationals accounting for 147,848 of the total, the office said in a statement on Tuesday.
In April alone, a total of 40,700 tourists visited Macedonia, up by 9.6% on the year, while overnights decreased by an annual 2.5% to 85,197.
