January 12 (SeeNews) - The number of tourists staying in Macedonia through November rose by 11.4% to 614,701, the country's statistics office said on Thursday.
Tourist overnights increased by 7.9% to some 2.11 million in the first eleven months of 2011, with foreign nationals accounting for 723,212 of the total, the office said in a statement.
In November alone, a total of 32,810 tourists visited Macedonia, up by 10.8% on the year, while overnights increased by an annual 9.8% to 72,346.
