September 4 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Macedonian Stock Exchange JSC (MSE) ended mixed this week in higher turnover, bourse data showed on Friday.
The MBI-10 index, which tracks the 10 blue-chip companies on the MSE, closed at 2,611.93 on Friday, down 1.3% from last Thursday. The MBID index, which comprises the 10 most liquid companies, added 1.1 % from last Thursday to 2,408.85.
The Skopje bourse was closed last Friday due to Assumption Day, a public and market holiday in Macedonia.
The MSE's total turnover rose to 70.49 million denars ($1.64 million/1.15 million euro) from the 44.5 million denars generated over four trading sessions last week. Turnover on the bourse's official floor increased to 55.87 million denars from 35.7 million denars last week. Turnover on the unofficial floor rose to 14.72 million denars from 8.7 million denars a week earlier.
Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje was the most traded company this week, with a total turnover of 4.07 million denars.
