May 19 (SeeNews) - Macedonia's Securities and Exchange Commission said on Friday it has approved the acquisition of 3,688 shares of retailer Tehnokomerc [MSE:TEHN], equivalent to a 16.76% stake, by a local businessman.
Following this acquisition, Ilija Filipovski will own a total of 11,184 shares, or 50.84% of Tehnokomerc - a retailer of car spare parts, tires, batteries, construction machines and hydraulic hoses, SEC said in a statement published on its website.

According to the statement, the shares of the retailer were sold for 1,000 denars ($18.2/16.3 euro) each.
Earlier this year, Tehnokomerc announced it has received a letter of intent from Filipovski for the acquisition of all company shares.
In 2016, Tehnokomerc booked a net profit of 14.5 million denars, up 9% compared to 2015, as it had operating revenue of 287,8 million denars.
