October 24 (SeeNews) - The value of Macedonian banks' outstanding loans to the private sector rose 2.42% year-on-year to 274.6 billion denars ($4.85 billion/4.46 billion euro) at end-September, decelerating from a 2.82% credit growth in August, the central bank, NBRM, said.
At the same time, the value of bank deposits added 3.98% on the year to 302.8 billion denars at end-September, slowing down from a 4.52% increase a month earlier, the central bank said on Friday.
The total assets of Macedonian banks expanded by 3.29% to 520 billion denars, after increasing 3.45% in August.
