May 15 (SeeNews) - Macedonia's sole oil refinery Okta [MSE:OKTA] said on Thursday its net loss narrowed to 267.4 million denars (5.9 million/4.3 million euro) in the first quarter of 2014 from 339.6 million denars a year earlier.
Sales revenue fell by 29% on the year to 4.4 billion denars in the first quarter, while operating loss widened to 273.6 million denars from 249.9 million denars, Okta said in its income statement sent to the Macedonian Stock Exchange.
Okta is majority owned by EL.P.ET. Balkaniki, a subsidiary of Greek oil group Hellenic Petroleum.
